Some Chinese bloggers have stated that 22,000 Xiaomi Mix Folds have been sold on third-party platforms. In this regard, Wang Teng, product director of Xiaomi's Redmi, confirmed that the Mix Fold was almost sold out in a few seconds.

The Xiaomi Mix Fold version with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of flash memory is offered for $1,520. The version with 12/512 GB of memory costs $1,670, and the version that received 16/512 GB of memory is priced at almost $2,000.

Even though the gadget has a decent starting price, it is still much more expensive than regular smartphones, considering the specifications. However, it wasn't enough to drive customers away from the new foldable phone.

The first Xiaomi foldable devices likely went to resellers. The fact is that the starting batch of another Xiaomi flagship, the Mi 11 Ultra, was sold out in a matter of minutes, and resellers have already begun to offer this gadget at inflated prices. Official prices for the Mi 11 Ultra range from $910 to $1,065. The resellers set prices of $1,100.

At the same time, Xiaomi Mix Fold's resale has not yet started since buyers should receive the first devices only in mid-April.

As a reminder, the Mi Mix Fold is equipped with an 8.01-inch internal OLED display and a 6.2-inch external OLED display, but with a refresh rate of 90Hz.

The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. It also features an impressive 108MP camera paired with a 13MP camera and an 8MP sensor enhanced with liquid lens technology.

The phone has a large 5020mAh battery with 67W fast charging. It also has an impressive cooling system that will keep the device cool even with extreme use.
