Popular social media platform Twitter announced that it is now testing a new feed feature in the Explore tab with TikTok-like vertical videos. Twitter is the latest social network to try to replicate TikTok's success.

The new feature is being tested in some countries with English-speaking users on both Android and iOS.

The company representatives say that the new feature is an additional way to promote content that's already on the platform. It's also part of the efforts of Twitter to improve personalized recommendations.

Other social media platforms already launched formats similar to TikTok a long time ago. For example, Instagram has Reels, Snapchat has Spotlight, YouTube has Shorts. Even platforms like Reddit, Netflix, and Spotify are also experimenting with the vertical video format.
