Cloudflare's latest analytical report indicates that TikTok has become the most popular domain of the year, bypassing Google and other giants like Microsoft or Facebook in terms of the number of monthly visitors.

According to the report, TikTok has overtaken all Google services, including Maps, Translate, Photos, Books, and even News.

Google, together with its other services, was the most visited website in 2020, while TikTok occupied 7th and 8th positions on the list. However, last year's leader dropped to the second line of this year's rating.

TikTok Will Turn Off Late-Night Notifications for Teens
One of the most notable changes is related to push notifications. From now on, user accounts of teenagers aged 13-15 will no longer receive push notifications after 9PM, and teens aged 16-17 will stop receiving them after 10PM.

According to Cloudflare, TikTok peaked in the global traffic rankings for the first time in February 2021 and has primarily held the lead since August.

Cloudflare suggests that TikTok's success is caused by its algorithm that offers users videos based on their interests.
