Google has unveiled a trio of new features for its desktop browser, Chrome, aimed at enhancing user experience and security.

The first feature introduces tab groups that can be saved and synchronized across multiple desktop devices with a single Google account. Users will have the flexibility to customize the synchronization settings for each tab group individually, allowing for seamless navigation and organization. This update is set to roll out gradually to Chrome users in the coming weeks.

Chrome Browser Adds Quick Video Screenshots Feature
To use this feature, simply open a video on platforms like YouTube using your Chrome browser. Right-click on the video, and you’ll now see an option that says “Copy Video Frame.” Click on it, and you’ll have a clean image in your clipboard.

In addition, Chrome now displays the amount of RAM consumed by each open tab, offering users insights into memory usage. This feature, previously in testing, is now officially integrated into the browser. Furthermore, Chrome introduces a RAM-saving prediction feature when enabling memory-saving mode.

The third change involves the Safety Check feature, which now operates continuously in the background. Safety Check monitors the security of Chrome by checking for compromised passwords, potentially harmful extensions, outdated Chrome versions, and site permissions that require attention. Users will receive proactive alerts in the Chrome menu, allowing for immediate action.

Google Chrome Will Automatically Change Stolen Passwords
If Chrome detects that a certain password should be changed, the user will be prompted to have it changed automatically by pressing a single button in a pop-up window. The feature is powered by Google Assistant and Google Duplex technology.

These updates aim to provide Chrome users with a more streamlined and secure browsing experience. Google is committed to further improving Chrome, leveraging its AI model Gemini to deliver smarter and more helpful features.
