Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy Buds Pro, the company's first active noise canceling earbuds. These are rivals of Apple's AirPods Pro.
Their cost will be about 200 USD, and the novelty will appear in stores in early February.
According to the company, the headphones suppress up to 99% of extraneous noise, as they cover the entire ear and adjust to ambient noise. If you wish, you can turn on the "environment" mode, which will allow you to listen to both music and what is happening around.
The headphones are equipped with a 6.5mm high frequency speaker and an 11mm bass woofer, which should provide the "best sound quality" of any of the company's headphones.
Galaxy Buds Pro can detect when their owner starts to speak: they will automatically switch to Ambient Sound Mode and reduce the volume of the music. A separate module is responsible for recognizing a person's voice from the outside and drowning it out in crowded places.
They are also protected from the wind so even on the street the interlocutor can be heard without problems.
On a single charge, the earbuds will be able to work 18 hours, taking into account recharging from the case and 5 hours without it. At the same time, five minutes of charging provides an hour of additional listening.
The Galaxy Buds Pro will come in black, silver and purple to match the new Galaxy S21 lineup.
