Xiaomi has introduced its new operating system, HyperOS, set to revolutionize its smart ecosystem. HyperOS promises enhanced speed, versatility, and energy efficiency, while also sporting iOS-inspired app designs.

This announcement coincided with the launch of the Xiaomi 14 smartphone series and Watch S3. HyperOS is not just a rebrand – it's a fresh OS, marking a major shift from MIUI.

HyperOS's key features include compatibility with over 200 device categories, support for RAM from 64 KB to 24 GB, and consumption of just 8.75 GB of storage space. Tests show it's faster and more power-efficient than its predecessors.

HyperOS aligns with Xiaomi's objectives: Low-level Refactoring, Cross-End Intelligent Connectivity, Proactive Intelligence, and End-to-End Security.

The interface has been revamped to resemble iOS, improving the user experience. HyperMind allows real-time remote control of Xiaomi ecosystem products. For privacy and security, HyperOS employs end-to-end encryption for data transmission between devices.

HyperOS will debut on the Xiaomi 14 series and roll out to other devices in Q1 2024.
