Twitter continues to add more features to make the experience on the platform even more convenient. The social media platform has announced the launch of podcasts that will be available within the revamped Spaces tab. You can like or dislike podcasts to let the platform know if the content is interesting to you.

Twitter Is Rolling out the Unmentioning Feature to All Users
To unmention yourself from the conversations you no longer want to be a part of, you need to select the tweet you’re tagged in and tap the three dots at the top-right corner of the screen. You should then choose the Leave this conversation option.

Specifically, the redesign will feature personalized centers for users called Stations, which group content based on different topics such as news, music, sports, etc. Stations are topic-based playlists that combine podcast episodes pulled from RSS with Twitter's recordings and social audio events. Recommendations will be generated based on the topics and people the user follows.

Twitter internal research shows that 45% of the platform's US users listen to podcasts every month, so it's worth recommending audio content to them.

Twitter Is Testing Its Notes Feature for Long-Form Posts
In the timeline, notes will look like a link preview that you click on to read the entire note. Like tweets, notes will have their own link and can be tweeted, retweeted, sent to private messages, liked, and added to favorites.

Listeners will now have access to a more personalized selection of audio content, including live and recorded spaces.

It is noted that the updated Spaces tab and added podcasts will be available on iOS and Android to the English-speaking audience from around the world.

Twitter Introduces Exclusive Spaces for Super Followers
Until now, Super Followers had only one advantage over regular Twitter users – they had access to exclusive tweets of the creators they followed. Now Super Followers will also have a dedicated place only they can attend.

It is not yet specified when we can expect the full launch of the Twitter Spaces feature with podcasts for all users. It is noted that the final version of the new feature will depend on how people react to it during the testing phase.
