American billionaire and the head of SpaceX and Tesla, Elon Musk, tried himself as a perfumer by launching a new perfume that smells like burnt hair and has the same name. Within a day, more than 10,000 bottles were pre-ordered, for $100 per bottle.

However, customers won't be able to get them until the first quarter of 2023, according to the website of The Boring Company, Musk's underground tunnel-building venture.

The release of the perfume is related to a post the billionaire jokingly posted on Twitter back in late September. Musk announced plans to release a fragrance for men called Burnt Hair, which would help men "stand out in a crowd." In October, the entrepreneur decided to bring this idea to life.

Tesla Accepts Dogecoin as Payment for Some of Its Merchandise
A new section on the company’s website says that Dogecoin can be used to purchase selected items from the Tesla Shop, making it the only cryptocurrency that Tesla customers can use to buy goods.

Musk called his new fragrance "the finest fragrance on earth" and described it as "the essence of repugnant desire." He later noted that entering the fragrance business was almost inevitable for him because of his last name.

Elon Musk Acquires Twitter for $44 Billion
Shareholders will receive $54.2 for each common share, which is 38% more than their value as of April 1, when it became known that Musk had purchased a 9% stake in the company.

This isn't Musk's first product launched based on jokes: he has already released tequila under the Tesla brand and limited-edition satin shorts. Another peculiar merchandise was the Not-A-Flamethrower handheld flamethrower.
