Clubhouse Has Released an Official Android Version, but so Far Only for US Users
The audio-based social network Clubhouse, which has gained considerable popularity in recent months, will soon become available to Android users, says a blog post of the app.
Android is finally here! You can download the Clubhouse beta right now in the US, & around the world in the coming days/weeks.

Before you ask...yes, still invite-only. We're managing growth so we can build more sustainable infrastructure before the floodgates open. Soon(ish)! pic.twitter.com/EdltTZS0hD
For about a year, the platform was used only by owners of devices based on iOS, but now the developers announced the deployment of the beta version of Clubhouse for Android. For now, the app is only available to US users.
“We will begin gradually, with the U.S. today, followed by other English-speaking countries and then the rest of the world. Our plan over the next few weeks is to collect feedback from the community, fix any issues we see and work to add a few final features like payments and club creation before rolling it out more broadly,” reads the announcement.
Those who want to download Clubhouse outside of the United States can still pre-register in the Google Play store. They will receive notifications once the Android version of the app arrives in their country.
Earlier in May, it was announced that Clubhouse started testing an app for Android.
Clubhouse gained wide popularity at the beginning of 2021. Its limited availability caused large social media platforms to create their own similar services. This allowed them to attract those Android users who were interested in the functionality of Clubhouse, but did not have the opportunity to use the application on their devices.
