News Rolls-Royce Successfully Tests Its First All-Electric Aircraft Rolls-Royce successfully completed the first flight of its all-electric aircraft Spirit of Innovation. The aircraft took off from the UK Ministry of Defence's Boscombe Down site and spent about 15 minutes in the air.
