Redmi has launched the new Redmi Buds 5, offering impressive specifications at an affordable price point. These earbuds introduce several notable upgrades over their predecessor, making them a compelling choice for budget-conscious consumers.
One of the standout features of the Redmi Buds 5 is their advanced noise cancellation capability, providing up to 46dB of noise reduction. This level of noise cancellation rivals that of flagship earbuds, ensuring a more immersive listening experience. Users can choose from three noise reduction depth levels and three transparency modes to suit their preferences.
For crystal-clear calls, the earbuds feature dual-mic AI noise cancellation.
The Redmi Buds 5 are equipped with Bluetooth 5.3 for seamless connectivity, allowing users to enjoy a stable and lag-free connection to their devices.
In terms of audio quality, the Redmi Buds 5 boast a 12.4mm extra-large high-polymer titanium-plated diaphragm and an independent acoustic chamber. This combination results in rich, high-quality sound with clear highs and deep lows. The earbuds have also received Netease Cloud Music hardware certification.
Battery life is another highlight of the Redmi Buds 5. The included charging case extends the total battery life to an impressive 40 hours. Additionally, a fast-charging feature provides 2 hours of music playback with just 5 minutes of charging.
The Redmi Buds 5 feature an ergonomic design and are available in black, light blue, and white color options. Xiaomi has also introduced a special edition of the earbuds in collaboration with clothing brand AAPE, featuring a unique camouflage paint job.
The standard Redmi Buds 5 are priced at 199 Yuan (approximately $27), making them a budget-friendly choice for consumers. The AAPE edition is available for 299 Yuan (approximately $40). The initial launch is in China.
