Xiaomi introduced its new HyperCharge technology that will allow you to charge smartphones at a record speed. The company has long been among the leaders in the market for such technologies, and the first devices supporting this technology have already been presented.
The new Xiaomi 200W wired charger can charge a 4000 mAh battery in just 8 minutes. Wireless HyperCharge will power 120W and charge a similar battery for a little longer – within 15 minutes.
The developer posted a video describing how HyperCharge works on the Mi 11 Pro. The smartphone receives 50% of the energy required to fully charge in just three minutes, and it can be charged up to 100% in almost 8 minutes. The same video shows the wireless charging of this smartphone. It only takes 1 minute to get 10% of the battery charge and seven minutes to get 50%.
Earlier this year, there were reports that Xiaomi had a smartphone with 200W fast charging support, which is slated for release in the second half of this year. However, the source explained that 200W is the sum of all the charging modes that the device supports, including wired, wireless, and reverse wireless charging.
