With Communities, you can connect related group chats of communities like neighborhoods or parents at school under a single umbrella to make it easier to stay in touch and organize group conversations on WhatsApp. Community users can switch between multiple groups, and admins can share updates with an entire Community through announcement channels.
To start using this feature, you need to open the new Communities tab, which can be found at the top of your chats on Android or at the bottom on iOS. Here you can both create a new Community and add existing groups to a new Community.

- The ability to create in-chat polls;
- Up to 32 people can participate in video calls;
- The maximum group size has been doubled to 1,024 users.
This update can provide more ways to connect with other people around various topics of interest, creating more engagement opportunities.
