Twitter Created a Web Game to Explain Its Privacy Policy
Twitter has launched a new browser game designed to explain some of its privacy settings and help its users understand its Privacy Policy better. You can play the game dubbed Twitter Dash Dash right here. It was created by game developer and pixel artist Momo Pixel.
Twitter has recently rewritten its Privacy Policy to explain tedious legal terms in a simple manner, as well as published updated information on how the social media platform handles user data. The game was specifically created to educate people on the data that Twitter collects, how the social network uses it, and what controls users have over it.
The game itself looks like a regular 2D side-scrolling platformer with a marvelous pixel art aesthetic. The game is set in PrivaCity, and your task is to navigate a dog named Data safely to the park. Along the way, you will "dodge cat ads, swim through a sea of DMs, battle trolls, and learn how to take control of your Twitter experience along the way."
After completing each level, you will learn something new about Twitter's Privacy Policy and what you can do to keep yourself safe while using the platform.
