Telegram soon may add shops to its messenger and the ability to save payment cards and leave tips.

In the next Telegram update, it may become possible to sell goods and services in channels and groups, not only with bots' help as it is implemented now.

This conclusion can be made due to the current beta versions of the messenger for Android and macOS.

Payment for goods and services in the messenger will be carried out using third-party payment systems, which include:

  • LiqPay
  • ECOMMPAY
  • Stripe
  • Tranzzo
  • Payme
  • CLICK
  • Sberbank
  • YooMoney

Also, among the innovations, there were found the opportunity to leave tips and save bank card details for future purchases within Telegram.

Telegram users can check how the stores will work in the test store — @TestStore.

Recall that in December last year, the founder of Telegram, Pavel Durov, announced the appearance in the messenger of new paid functions for business users, its own advertising platform, and paid stickers.
