OpenAI Releases DALL-E 3 That Seamlessly Integrates with ChatGPT
OpenAI has introduced the third iteration of its groundbreaking AI visual art platform, DALL-E. This updated version, known as DALL-E 3, offers enhanced capabilities, safety measures, and accessibility through integration with ChatGPT, OpenAI's AI chatbot.
DALL-E 3 now seamlessly collaborates with ChatGPT, making it significantly more user-friendly. Users can leverage ChatGPT to create prompts for DALL-E 3 without the need for intricate descriptions. Instead, they can simply convey their ideas in plain language, and ChatGPT will craft an optimal prompt for DALL-E 3.
DALL-E 3 also brings a notable improvement in image generation accuracy, particularly when dealing with longer, more complex prompts. Unlike its predecessors, this version understands context exceptionally well, resulting in images that closely align with users' creative visions.
Furthermore, OpenAI has put substantial effort into ensuring that DALL-E 3 adheres to robust safety standards. The model has been fine-tuned to reject requests for images mimicking the style of living artists, thus protecting their creative rights. It will also decline prompts related to public figures, contributing to the fight against misinformation and propaganda. Moreover, DALL-E 3 maintains rigorous safeguards against generating explicit or offensive content.
With DALL-E 3, artists can choose to opt out of having their artwork used in future iterations of OpenAI's text-to-image models. This feature empowers artists to protect their creations while contributing to responsible AI development.
DALL-E 3 is set to launch first for ChatGPT Plus and ChatGPT Enterprise subscribers in October. Following this release, it will become accessible to research labs and API customers.
