Microsoft began gradually rolling out a new update to its Phone Link app, which now also includes support for iOS.

The company started previewing this update earlier this year. Microsoft has now begun a major rollout of the update in 39 languages across 85 markets.

iPhone owners can now sync their smartphones with the Phone Link app to make and receive calls, send and receive messages via iMessage, get notifications from their mobile devices, and view their phone contacts on their Windows 11 PC.

The main changes affected the operating system’s interface, the Start menu, the desktop, the way of communication, widgets, access to video games, security, sound, applications and other features.

To connect your iPhone to Windows 11, you will need the latest update of the Phone Link app.

However, Phone Link also has some limitations. For example, users will not be able to communicate in group chats, as well as view photos and videos from their mobile devices.

Microsoft expects to roll out iOS support to all Windows 11 users by mid-May.
