Chrome Browser Adds Quick Video Screenshots Feature

Google has rolled out a new feature for its desktop Chrome browser that makes capturing screenshots from videos a breeze. This latest addition allows users to save a video frame as an image, making it a handy tool for various purposes.

How to Use the Feature:

To use this feature, simply open a video on platforms like YouTube using your Chrome browser. Right-click on the video, and you'll now see an option that says "Copy Video Frame." Click on it, and you'll have a clean image in your clipboard.

Google Will Ask Users to Verify Suspicious Actions on Gmail
If the system detects potentially suspicious activity, it will require additional identity verification, such as entering a code from an SMS or secondary email. If verification fails, a notification requesting confirmation will be sent to trusted devices.

What's noteworthy is that the captured image is clean, devoid of the player interface and those black bars around the video. To get the best screenshots, it's advisable to pause the video before clicking "Copy Video Frame." Doing this ensures a crisp and clear image.

If you've updated your browser and don't see this option yet, it might take a few days to reach everyone.
