Apple's First M3-Powered Macs May Launch This Fall

Apple fans may have some exciting news to look forward to this October, as rumors suggest that the tech giant is gearing up to release its first M3-powered Macs. According to renowned insider Mark Gurman, an October event is likely to follow Apple's iPhone 15 series announcement in September, with a focus on new Macs featuring the powerful M3 chip.

Apple Unveiled New iPhone 14 and 14 Plus in Yellow
Both iPhone versions will still feature a lightweight design, a durable Ceramic Shield front cover, a dual-camera system for pro-level photos and videos, the powerful A15 Bionic chip, and innovative safety capabilities.

The lineup of expected releases includes a new iMac, a 13-inch MacBook Air, and a 13-inch MacBook Pro. The M3 chip, built on TSMC's advanced 3nm process, promises to bring significant performance and power efficiency enhancements over the current M2 chip, which powers Apple's latest Mac models.

Apple Announces a Set of New Accessibility Features
Ahead of the annual WWDC developer conference, the Cupertino company has announced a number of innovations designed to make it easier for people with vision, hearing, mobility, and cognitive disabilities to use the company’s devices.

While Gurman hedges on this prediction, the timing aligns with the gap since the last iMac release two years ago. Additionally, it is expected that larger 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models with M3 chips will debut in early 2024.
